Enterprise Architect

Role Summary

• Strengthen the Digital & IT organization at Semco Maritime as an Enterprise Architect
• Shape and govern enterprise architecture to ensure a future‑proof application landscape
• Support business strategy, scalability, and operational excellence
• Act as focal point for the enterprise architecture repository (LEAN IX)
• Collaborate with solution architects and key stakeholders across Digital & IT and the wider organization
• Contribute to a strong safety culture while delivering innovative solutions
• Location: Global HQ in Esbjerg (Danish energy industry hub, waterfront views)

Responsibilities

• Map, document, and maintain an overview of current and target application landscape
• Define and govern architecture principles, standards, and roadmaps aligned with business strategy
• Ensure scalable, cost-effective, and future-proof architecture across applications, integrations, and platforms
• Act as primary owner of the LEAN IX architecture repository
• Collaborate with solution architects to ensure architectural alignment
• Provide architectural insights for portfolio planning
• Facilitate architecture reviews
• Communicate complex topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in enterprise or strategic architecture roles within large or complex organisations
• Strong knowledge of methodologies such as TOGAF or SABSA
• Ability to pragmatically apply architecture frameworks to drive business outcomes and decision-making
• Expertise in application architecture, integration patterns, and enterprise IT landscapes
• Proficient with enterprise architecture tools (LEAN IX is a plus)
• Skilled at balancing strategic thinking with hands-on analysis and guidance
• Analytical, structured, and pragmatic problem-solver
• Excellent English communication skills (Danish is an advantage)
