About the role
Role Summary
- Join Novo Nordisk’s ESG Reporting team responsible for CSRD-aligned ESG reporting
- Ensure high quality ESG reporting for investors, regulators, employees, and other stakeholders
- Work closely with various departments across the organization
Responsibilities
- Prepare Novo Nordisk’s ESG reporting, including the Sustainability Statement in the Annual Report
- Take responsibility for selected metrics and ensure accurate, transparent reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders on data collection
- Oversee EU Taxonomy reporting
- Improve data collection and consolidation processes
- Manage ESG reporting to raters and rankers (e.g., CDP, MSCI, EcoVadis)

- Part of ESG Reporting, located at headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark
- ESG Reporting is under the Finance organization, reporting to the CFO
- Team of 10 employees in Denmark and India
- Part of Corporate Accounting (approx. 40 employees)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree related to ESG topics, business, or auditing (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in Sustainability, ESG reporting, or as an ESG consultant
- Knowledge of ESG reporting methodologies and frameworks (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy, GHG Protocol)
- Good communication skills and confidence interacting with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of ESG rating schemes (e.g., CDP, MSCI, EcoVadis)
- Experience with environmental reporting (e.g., carbon accounting, SBTi)
- Pragmatic and can-do attitude
