Role Summary
Join Novo Nordisk Denmark as an External Affairs Manager and play a central role in strengthening our external voice across media, policymakers, and society. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute proactive media strategies
- Manage media relations, interviews, press briefings, and prepare spokespeople
- Create clear, compliant external communication (press releases, op-eds, statements, social media content)
- Monitor political and healthcare developments; draft position papers; support public affairs initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, industry groups, patient organisations, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with commercial, market access, and medical teams to ensure message alignment
- Support reputational risk management and crisis communication activities
- Track media coverage, analyse public sentiment, and report insights to refine strategies
Requirements
- Strong writing, messaging, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience in media relations and external communications
- Understanding of healthcare, policy movements, or the broader public policy environment
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work under pressure and tight deadlines
