The role demands the ability to supervise subcontractors effectively and collaborate closely with Harbor & Basin Supervisors during critical operations such as float-up, transfer, and set-down of construction elements. The position also involves administrative duties including issuing daily reports and participating in debriefings. Experience with work method statements (WMS), lifting plans, and marine operational safety standards is implied. The role offers employment under Danish contract terms with benefits including pension, health insurance, and a structured work rotation. Role Summary
Join a project that’s not just exciting—it’s world-changing! Be part of something truly remarkable with Femern Link Contractors (FLC), responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals, ramps, and accommodation facilities (Tunnel village) in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.
Responsibilities
- Present Safety Toolbox to the team and record it
- Ensure safety on site for own teams and other personnel
- Present and record the PRESTART Meeting
- Pick up goods from the main store, check against purchase orders, and store at the marine work area
- Carry out inventory of equipment inside storage containers
- Organise operations on the construction site and in the basins with the team according to WMS and/or lifting plans
- Organise timely inspection of rigging and mooring cables, shackles, and related equipment
- Organise site housekeeping, waste disposal, and storage of hazardous products
- Attend pre-task briefing, pre-start meeting, and toolbox talks; work according to discussed method elements
- Assist the Harbor & Basin Supervisor during operation, float-up, transfer, and set-down of the Floating Gate
- Assist during transfer of standard elements, immersion pontoon, and special elements between basins and harbour, including mooring operations
- Execute lifting operations at the Ballast Concrete Jetty and on the STE to prepare elements for transport and installation
- Clean the site after task execution and participate in debriefing
- Issue daily reports
Requirements
- Experience in a supervising role during execution of marine and/or infrastructure projects
- Experience in site logistics, lifting operations, and marine operations
- Ability to supervise the works of sub-contractors
