About the role
Role Summary
- Drive high-quality insights on competitor products, pipelines, R&D, and commercial strategies
- Enable Novo Nordisk to make informed decisions on current and future product portfolio
- Shape strategies for projects and future commercial brands
- Provide news monitoring and insights generation related to the competitive landscape
- Activate insights to elevate and challenge projects and products
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, data-driven insights regarding the competitive landscape
- Drive strong competitive insights to enhance decision-making at project/product and portfolio level
- Lead assessments of key intelligence topics of strategic interest in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
- Plan and activate key insights from scientific congresses among internal stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of the Competitive Intelligence function
- Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment
Requirements
- M.Sc. in Business, Medicine, or Life/Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex data
- Proven track record in communicating scientific, medical, and commercial information to diverse audiences, including senior management
- In-depth understanding of drug development, regulatory processes, commercial strategy, and pharmaceutical value chains
- Comfortable in an expert role, able to think independently and proactively set the agenda
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
About the Department
- The Competitive Intelligence Team monitors, assesses, and activates intelligence on competitors within core strategic areas in Diabetes and Obesity
- Part of the Insights & CI team, which includes Competitive Intelligence, Customer Insights, and Data Strategy & AI
- Engages with stakeholders across the value chain to drive insights and enhance decision-making
