About the role
Role Summary
- Lead a significant product area within Vivino's core marketplace experience
- Strategic and hands-on product leadership role based in Copenhagen, Denmark
- Report to the Chief Product Officer (CPO)
- Define product strategy, shape the roadmap, and drive impact on key business and user KPIs
- Lead a team of Senior Product Managers, fostering rapid experimentation, customer empathy, and data-informed decisions
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, KPIs, and roadmap for the Marketplace (customer-facing shopping and merchant-facing infrastructure)
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers
- Drive both strategic initiatives and iterative optimizations to improve user and business outcomes
- Enhance buyer engagement and frequency to support MAU growth
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing
- Represent the Marketplace in leadership forums, securing alignment and buy-in
- Collaborate with other product leaders to ensure holistic user journeys across Vivino's platforms
Requirements
- Extensive B2C e-commerce experience (ideally marketplaces) or other consumer-facing mobile-first environments
- Solid understanding of e-commerce metrics and KPIs (conversion rates, take rates, customer retention)
- Proven ability to lead product strategy from ideation to execution with measurable impact
- Direct experience with AI and algorithm-driven products (recommendation systems, search, personalization, supply and demand matching)
- Track record of delivering exceptional customer-facing UX
- Data-fluent, comfortable with A/B testing, metrics, and data-driven decisions
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Highly adaptable, collaborative, and driven to deliver value and innovate
