About the role

Role Summary

  • Lead the newly unified IT function at Impact Fund Denmark
  • Oversee IT operations, application, and data management
  • Build a collaborative, high-performing team delivering secure, scalable, business-aligned solutions
  • Support impactful projects globally (e.g., forestry in Paraguay, solar energy in Brazil, health clinics in Bangladesh)

Responsibilities

  • Lead integration of IT operations and development
  • Recruit and onboard new IT team members
  • Oversee continuous infrastructure modernization
  • Implement ITIL-based service management practices
  • Execute new IT strategy in collaboration with T&O management
  • Build strong structures and a robust operating model
  • Lead user adoption and change management

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience leading IT operations and development teams
  • Strong technical foundation; able to lead IT professionals without being hands-on
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft enterprise technologies (e.g., Azure, M365)
  • Proficient in managing networks, servers, databases, and operating systems
  • Experience overseeing infrastructure modernization for scalability and security
  • Relevant degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Professional English communication skills
  • Empathic, grounded, and experienced leader
  • Ideally, background in the financial sector
