As we continue to scale, we’re looking for an experienced Head of SEO to take our search offering to the next level.

Role Summary

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of SEO to lead and expand Klingit’s SEO practice. You’ll own the entire SEO function, from defining strategy to managing execution, and collaborate closely with our design, content, and paid media teams to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

This is an opportunity to build and grow a department within a fast-moving agency environment, work with exciting clients, and shape the way Klingit approaches organic growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead Klingit’s SEO strategy across multiple client accounts
  • Conduct in-depth SEO audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis
  • Oversee on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives
  • Build and manage a future SEO team, including freelancers or partners
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and content creators to implement SEO best practices
  • Track, measure, and report on SEO performance to deliver clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Stay ahead of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging tools to keep our clients competitive
  • Contribute to new business pitches and help grow SEO revenue

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, ideally in an agency environment
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable SEO results across multiple industries
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and link-building best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Exceptional communication skills (you can explain SEO in a way clients and colleagues understand)
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring junior talent
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build processes and scale an offering
