The advisor should be skilled in talent management, employee development, and training coordination, as well as in generating quarterly HR reports on recruitment, retention, and workforce trends. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical for effectively engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels, conducting employee pulse surveys, and driving HR projects in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Fluency in English is mandatory, with Danish and German language skills considered a plus. The role involves hybrid working arrangements based in Aarhus, Denmark, with occasional domestic and international travel. About the role
Role Summary
- Provide HR advice and support to line managers and leadership team
- Engage in strategic decisions and people & culture matters
- Main HR contact for Trapeze EU FX P&S (approx. 55 employees across Denmark, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, and Germany)
- Report to General Manager, with dotted line to Group HR Director
- Hybrid role based in Aarhus, Denmark; occasional office presence required
- Open to part-time (50%+) and full-time arrangements
Responsibilities
- Support line managers on HR and personnel matters
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements (including GDPR)
- Keep management updated on employment legislation in all relevant countries
- Identify workforce needs and drive recruitment (job descriptions, job ads, screening, interviews, feedback)
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes (contracts, introductions, data entry)
- Maintain benefit policies and ensure up-to-date personnel handbooks and documentation
- Keep employee data and personnel files current
- Manage talent management programme
- Support staff development and training plans; liaise with training providers
- Provide quarterly HR reports on recruitment, retention, and key trends
- Support project work as assigned by HR Director and BU Lead
- Conduct regular employee pulse interviews and act on findings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as HR Generalist, HR Advisor, HR Partner, or similar, preferably in an international setting
- Empathetic, trustworthy, and effective communicator at all organizational levels
- Understands both manager and employee needs; motivated to co-create HR solutions
- Solid knowledge of Danish employment legislation (Norwegian/German law is a plus)
- Able to manage HR initiatives and projects in changing environments
- Proven experience communicating on a wide range of HR topics
- Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Danish and German are an advantage
- Willing to travel occasionally, domestically and internationally
