The role involves occasional travel (up to 30 days annually) and is based at the global headquarters in Esbjerg, Denmark. About the role
- Lead a team of 15+ telecommunication engineers in the Technology Solutions division
- Oversee the creation, design, and development of critical communication systems for the offshore energy industry
- Work at the Global HQ in Esbjerg, Denmark, with up to 30 days of travel per year

Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, hire, motivate, and coach telecom engineers
- Coordinate, delegate, and prioritize team activities and tasks
- Collaborate closely with Telecom Project Managers and the wider engineering department
- Contribute to engineering processes, including quality assurance and control
- Set up training programs for telecom engineers in coordination with Project leads, Telecom Service, and the Head of Engineering
- Implement Lessons Learned within the Telecom area and ensure their integration into the team
- Cooperate and coordinate with other departments
- Support recruitment activities
Requirements
- Proven experience managing highly technical engineering teams
- Degree in engineering or a similar field with a strong technical background
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Experience in telecommunications and/or the offshore energy industry is an advantage, but not required
