The role demands excellent communication skills in English and local Nordic languages, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including political decision-makers. Responsibilities include driving revenue growth by selling IQM's portfolio to diverse clients, negotiating contracts, influencing tenders, and providing market-driven client solutions. Collaboration with internal teams such as product development and marketing is critical to align offerings with customer needs. The ideal candidate is self-driven, entrepreneurial, and willing to travel across the Nordic region. Additional advantages include industry-recognized data center certifications (e.g., CDCS, ITIL), and academic credentials in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Business. Role Summary
- Drive growth and partnerships for IQM Quantum Computers across the Nordics
- Focus on building and growing revenues by selling IQM's portfolio to HPCs, universities, research centers, government entities, and enterprises
- Ideally based in Denmark, Norway, or Sweden
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue leads, consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets and revenue goals
- Develop and execute strategies to promote IQM's portfolio within target sectors
- Engage with stakeholders, including political decision-makers, to establish IQM as a key industry player
- Influence tenders and negotiate contracts to secure deals
- Guide clients, address inquiries, and provide solutions based on market trends and client feedback
- Contribute insights to shape product offerings
- Collaborate with internal teams (product development, marketing) to align with customer needs
- Represent IQM at marketing events, conferences, and industry exhibitions
Requirements
- Based in Sweden, Norway, or Denmark with strong local connections
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales and Account Management in the ITC industry (hardware, software, telecommunications, storage, applications)
- Preferably experienced in high performance computing and/or data center space
- Knowledge of the quantum computing ecosystem
- Proven track record in developing business in the tech industry and driving innovation
- Experience with sales, account management, public tenders, public funding, and project management
- Ideally, a personal network with HPC and enterprise customers, research, and education institutions
- Proficient in English and local languages
- Strong communicator with a customer-oriented mindset and ability to engage at all levels
- Self-driven, ambitious, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness to travel across the Nordic region

- Industry-recognized data center-related certifications (e.g., CDCS, DC-certified professional, ITIL, DC specialist)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Math, Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Business, or similar
