The Procurement Excellence Manager role requires strong expertise in procurement performance improvement, process optimization, and value creation within a dynamic organizational context. Key competencies include advanced proficiency in Excel for developing and maintaining tools related to savings tracking, spend analysis, and performance reporting. Experience with e-sourcing platforms, specifically Scanmarket, and contract workflow management is important to support efficient procurement operations. The role demands capability in facilitating Lean board meetings, managing KPIs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Analytical skills are essential for coordinating and interpreting surveys such as bi-annual NPS, producing clear monthly performance reports from multiple data sources, and maintaining a procurement risk portfolio framework. The candidate should be adept at identifying trends and opportunities from data, challenging existing practices constructively, and innovating in data presentation and decision-support tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary to act as a sparring partner to senior procurement leadership and to foster a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement. A structured, reliable, and proactive mindset with a focus on accuracy and pragmatic problem-solving is critical. While prior experience in procurement, finance, business operations, or performance management is beneficial, the role emphasizes a growth-oriented attitude and openness to learning, especially regarding e-sourcing and contract management tools. The position suits individuals who are independent yet collaborative, able to bring clarity to complex situations, and motivated to enhance procurement processes through data-driven insights and stakeholder engagement.
