The Project Manager, Service role requires leadership and operational management expertise within service and installation projects in the energy sector, specifically at multiple sites in Denmark. The candidate should have a relevant educational background, ideally as a certified craftsman from the metal industry, complemented by experience as a site foreman or project manager in mechanical service, steel assembly, or site installation. Core competencies include project management skills such as defining project scope, strategic planning, budgeting, task prioritization, and supervision. The role demands strong stakeholder management and communication abilities, with fluency in both English and Danish, verbal and written. Proficiency in computer skills is essential to manage project documentation and planning effectively. A strong emphasis is placed on health, safety, and environmental standards, with knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards such as DS/EN ISO 3834, DS/EN 1090, and DS/EN 13480 considered a significant advantage. The position involves coordinating with service engineers and clients, participating in tendering processes, and fostering a safety-conscious and innovative work culture. The role is based at the global headquarters in Esbjerg and requires approximately 20–30 days of travel annually. This lead-level position is suited for candidates who can drive high-quality project delivery while maintaining compliance with safety standards and contributing to continuous improvement within the energy industry.
About the role
- Lead and support operational activities in the Service department of Transitional Energies
- Ensure high-quality delivery of service and installation projects at multiple sites in Denmark
- Work with a team of dedicated Service Engineers
- Contribute to a strong safety culture and innovative solutions
- Based at Global HQ in Esbjerg; full-time position with 20–30 travel days annually
Responsibilities
- Manage Service and Installation projects
- Assist with tendering for service projects
- Communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders
- Organize and participate in client meetings
- Define project scope and strategic direction in collaboration with clients and internal teams
- Create detailed project management plans, budgets, and documentation
- Assign, prioritize, and supervise project tasks
- Support and adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements
- Relevant education, preferably as a certified craftsman from the metal industry
- Experience as a site foreman or project manager in mechanical service, steel assembly, or site installation
- Experience with Service/Installation Projects, Project Management, and Stakeholder Management
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in English and Danish, verbal and written
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of safety standards relevant to Project Management
- Knowledge of the following standards is a strong advantage:
- DS/EN ISO 3834
- DS/EN 1090
- DS/EN 13480
