Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, SQL, and other Azure services
- Implement complex data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns to support reporting
- Manage and optimize ETL workflows, ensuring data quality, consistency, and high performance
- Design and maintain data warehouses and dimensional models (e.g., star/snowflake schema)
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Integrate data from various sources, including SQL databases, cloud storage, APIs, and flat files
- Ensure data governance, accuracy, and integrity across the BI ecosystem
Requirements
- 5+ years in Data Engineering roles
- Advanced SQL knowledge: complex queries, performance tuning, stored procedures
- Strong understanding of Azure technologies: Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, etc.
- Proven experience in ETL development, data integration, and pipeline orchestration
- Deep understanding of data modeling principles and data warehouse architectures
- Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and data security best practices
- Located in CET timezone (+/- 3 hours); applications from other time zones not considered
Nice to Have
