Specific experience in automating fermentation and recovery processes within biotech manufacturing is highly valued, reflecting the role’s focus on large-scale API production. Fluency in English and Danish is required to ensure effective communication within the multidisciplinary project teams. Responsibilities
- Join a project team expanding the facility with new fermentation and recovery equipment
- Involved in all project phases: detailed design, commissioning, and start-up
- Opportunity to transition into daily operations and ongoing optimization of automated solutions
- Provide input to optimize process design for large-scale and test facility contexts
About the Department
- Technical Production Facility (TPF) is part of API Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT)
- Responsible for producing technical API to support Novo Nordisk's product pipeline
- Functions as an internal innovation hub for new API production technologies
- Newly established and expanding to take on more projects
- Values diverse professional backgrounds and innovative problem-solving
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of technical experience
- Strong background in engineering, IT, and automation systems
- Extensive knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, 800xA, or similar DCS platforms)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience as an IT system manager and with IT infrastructure is an advantage
- Preferably experienced in designing and deploying automation solutions from scratch, including start-up and commissioning
- Experience in automating fermentation and recovery processes is a strong advantage
- Experience working in a project team
- Fluent in English and Danish
