Role Summary

  • Hybrid work model: at least 3 days in the office; no relocation allowance

Responsibilities

  • Respond to internal and external privacy and data protection inquiries
  • Provide practical advice to business units on data protection matters
  • Represent and support the Group Data Protection Officer
  • Act as an in-house advisory consultant, collaborating with business and stakeholders
  • Contribute to privacy governance framework: develop policies, standards, templates
  • Drive data protection awareness and training across the Group
  • Support implementation of regulatory requirements and assess compliance
  • Identify compliance risks and advise on mitigation
  • Independently drive compliance monitoring activities
  • Interact with data protection authorities, including breach notifications and complaints handling

Requirements

  • Relevant university degree in law or similar, with professional qualifications
  • At least three years of experience in data protection, privacy laws, or regulatory compliance
  • Knowledge of and interest in emerging technologies
  • Ability to explain complex issues to non-legal audiences
  • Experience in large or complex organisations is an advantage
  • Strong communicator, skilled at building relationships with varied stakeholders
  • Initiative-taker, able to raise issues effectively in dynamic environments
  • Advanced in both written and spoken English and a Nordic language
