Role Summary
- Play a key role in driving corporate governance at Danske Bank
- Advise and support the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors
- Bridge daily operations with the supervisory role of the Board
- Promote and sustain good corporate governance across business units and management levels
Responsibilities
- Support and advise the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors on decision processes, corporate governance, and related issues
- Support and advise Board committees in preparing for business-critical decisions
- Build and maintain efficient processes and strong relationships with leadership teams across the organisation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Group Legal, Group Strategic Steering, Group Positioning & Sustainability, Group Finance, Group Compliance, Group Risk Management, Group Internal Audit, and policy teams
- Ensure quality, relevance, and consistency of decision proposals, presentations, and reporting
- Execute and follow up on meetings
- Report to the Deputy Head of Company Secretariat and work alongside eight experienced colleagues
Requirements
- Educational background as lawyer (cand.jur. or cand.merc.jur.) with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Solid foundation in financial regulation, corporate and commercial law
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and projects effectively
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Danish and English
- Methodical approach with interest in structure and timely execution
