About the role

  • Senior Network and Telecom Engineer in the Telecom Engineering Department

  • Full-time position with approximately 10 travel days per year

Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer telecommunication solutions (focus on network aspects)
  • Participate in designing overall network architecture following OT-security practices
  • Outline detailed design specifications for network implementation
  • Participate in interface design to other systems
  • Verify configurations and equipment for Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Make minor changes to configurations
  • Follow up on subcontractors’ designs, ensuring technical requirements and interface management
  • Support and interact with subcontractors, customers, and internal teams (e.g., Telecom Service, Tender team)

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience configuring and designing network systems
  • Good understanding of network techniques (physical and logical)
  • Knowledge of OT-security standards and practices (e.g., Purdue model, IEC62443)
  • Degree in electronic, telecommunications, network engineering, or similar
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Experience in the maritime or offshore energy industry
  • Strong leadership skills within project teams
  • Good technical writing and analytical skills
