Senior Product Designer – Conversion & Acquisition

Role Summary

  • Join Fishbrain, the #1 fishing app in the US, on the acquisition and conversion team
  • Drive user growth and free-to-pro conversion strategy
  • Own end-to-end design for conversion funnels: website, app onboarding, trial, and subscription flows
  • Collaborate with PM, product analyst, and engineers to run experiments and iterate rapidly
  • High-impact role with direct influence on business metrics

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-fidelity, intuitive designs for conversion funnels, onboarding, and trial mechanics
  • Translate research and user insights into design decisions
  • Run ideation workshops and rapid A/B test experiments to optimize conversion rates
  • Create prototypes and conduct user interviews to validate concepts
  • Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to align design with business goals
  • Extend design system and component library in Figma
  • Identify UI gaps and improve key conversion metrics (reg-to-trial, trial-to-pro, website downloads)
  • Design and optimize ad inventory experiences balancing user experience and monetization

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience with a strong, conversion-focused portfolio
  • Strong portfolio in digital product design for iOS and Android
  • Experience with mobile app design, UX flows, and interaction design
  • Proven track record in growth or conversion design with measurable business impact
  • Deep understanding of Apple and Material Design guidelines
  • Proficiency in Figma for design systems, prototyping, and hand-off
  • Web design experience with SEO pages and conversion optimization for app downloads
  • A/B testing and experimentation experience; able to design for experiments and interpret results
  • Experience with subscription or freemium models, conversion psychology, and premium value communication
  • Comfortable with analytics tools such as Amplitude
  • Fluent in English and able to articulate design rationale to stakeholders
