About the role

Role Summary

  • Join a multicultural team of telecommunication specialists in the Telecom Engineering Department
  • Design and develop critical communication systems for the offshore energy industry
  • Based at Global HQ in Esbjerg, Denmark (waterfront location)
  • Full-time position with approx. 10 travel days per year
  • Work on projects of various sizes worldwide in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

  • Design radio systems for Marine and Aeronautical applications in line with regulatory and client requirements
  • Deliver mission-critical communication systems using DMR and TETRA radio technologies, including coverage in confined areas
  • Design, document, and verify radio system performance using advanced calculation tools
  • Support clients with broadband radio technologies (4G and 5G private radio networks, including core and RAN design)
  • Provide input and early design to the tender team for radio systems
  • Participate in or lead detailed designs, including Front End Engineering Designs
  • Program, configure, and test equipment before Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Follow up on subcontractors’ designs, ensuring technical requirements and interface management
  • Support and interact with subcontractors, customers, and internal teams (e.g., Telecom Service, Tender team)

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience configuring and designing radio systems
  • Degree in electronic, telecommunications engineering, or similar
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Strong leadership skills within project teams
  • Good technical writing and analytical skills
  • Project-minded and organized
  • Experience in maritime or offshore energy industry is an advantage (not required)
