Senior UX Designer

Role Summary

Nofence is a Norwegian scale-up building the world’s first virtual fencing solution for livestock. We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to join our Product team and help revolutionize livestock management through innovative agricultural technology.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the user experience for defined features in our main app
• Collaborate with UX lead, Product Manager, and engineers to set vision, outcomes, and roadmap
• Align patterns and coordinate releases with other application teams for a seamless user journey
• Create engaging, intuitive interfaces and flows from sketches to high-fidelity prototypes
• Work closely with designers, researchers, product managers, and developers to solve complex design challenges
• Plan and run discovery, concept tests, and usability evaluations to inform prioritization and iteration
• Contribute to and help evolve our design system
• Communicate decisions, trade-offs, and user insights clearly to stakeholders
• Apply a service design mindset, considering the full end-to-end journey

Requirements

• Relevant degree, diploma, or certificate in Design, HCI, or equivalent
• Proven experience in interaction design with a strong digital product portfolio
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
• Excellent facilitation skills for workshops and design sprints
• Minimum 5 years of design experience with a track record of successful projects
• Fluent English oral and written communication skills
