Role Summary

  • Key role in ensuring high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective safety equipment and workwear
  • Drive strategic procurement initiatives and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies and policies for Safety Equipment and Workwear
  • Facilitate and execute tenders and supplier selections
  • Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier performance to identify opportunities
  • Drive process optimization and standardization across business units
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favourable commercial terms
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align needs, specifications, and delivery
  • Monitor category performance and provide regular reporting and insights
  • Support sustainability initiatives and innovation within the category

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing (ideally 4-5 years at a strategic level)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with spend analysis and market research
  • Solid understanding of tendering processes and contract negotiation
  • Knowledge of safety equipment and workwear standards is an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement tools
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field preferred
