Responsibilities
Academic Leadership & Programme Implementation
- Lead MYP and DP curriculum development and interdisciplinary learning
- Ensure curriculum alignment across grade levels
- Support teachers in integrating IB principles, including the Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning/Teaching
Staffing & Professional Development
- Oversee high school staffing in line with school and IB goals
- Facilitate professional learning and collaborative planning
- Provide feedback and mentorship to enhance instructional quality
Student-Centred Learning & Well-being
- Monitor student progress using data-driven strategies
- Collaborate with Student Support to foster inclusion and well-being
- Promote social-emotional learning and skill development
Community Engagement
- Communicate the IB philosophy to parents and the school community
- Lead parent workshops and information sessions
- Strengthen the school’s culture of inquiry and international-mindedness
Administrative & IB Compliance
- Serve as the primary IB liaison, ensuring programme compliance
- Oversee scheduling, assessment timelines, and policy development
- Manage the professional development budget for MYP 5 and DP staff
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Education or a related field
- Leadership experience in an IB MYP or DP setting (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of inquiry-based teaching and international education
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills
