Responsibilities
- Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Support construction and site operations with general labour duties
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, equipment setup, and work area preparation
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
- Perform site cleanup, housekeeping, and waste removal
- Operate hand tools and basic power tools as required
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with basic construction tasks (digging, lifting, carrying, positioning materials)
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently to support project schedules
- Adhere to all workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance legislation
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, positive attitude, and teamwork
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction, industrial, or mining environments preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, carrying, extended periods)
- Willingness to work in a remote mine environment and varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely around heavy equipment and personnel
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing job requirements
