About the role
- Central role in strengthening Alsik Hotel & Spa's position as a preferred choice for business clients, especially within Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events (MICE)
- Focus on proactive sales, lead management, and building relationships with new and existing B2B customers
- Collaborate closely with the commercial team and conference/event team to ensure seamless sales-to-execution process
- Main customer base in Region Syddanmark, with select clients across Denmark
- Office presence in Sønderborg a few times per month, often for local business networking
- Local residence and knowledge are advantages, but not required
Responsibilities
- Proactively seek out and sell to new and existing business customers
- Handle leads and follow up to convert dialogues into bookings
- Present Alsik's solutions for meetings, conferences, and events
- Represent Alsik in relevant business networks
- Develop and present tailored solutions for meetings and workshops
- Manage negotiations and support contracts/agreements with the team
- Sales planning, pipeline management, and reporting
- Collaborate with travel and transport partners (e.g., bus and travel companies)
Requirements
- Experience in sales within the hotel industry (required)
- Able to work independently and plan your own workday
- Enjoy proactive sales and strong at building relationships
- Clear and welcoming communicator, both written and spoken
- Positive energy and ability to maintain overview in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial drive and documented sales results
- Fluent in Danish and English; German is an advantage but not required
