Part-time Lecturer in International Business Communication (English Proficiency)

Role Summary

• Part-time lecturer position at the Department of Management, Society and Communication (MSC), Copenhagen Business School (CBS)
• Focus on International Business Communication with special emphasis on English proficiency (written and oral)
• Appointment from 01 January 2026
• Temporary, part-time basis with possible extension under Danish Fixed-Term Employment Act
• Opportunity to teach, share practical experience, and engage in an international academic environment

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct teaching on International Business Communication, focusing on English proficiency
• Integrate English proficiency into courses within International Business and International Management
• Deliver online and blended learning
• Supervise students
• Prepare teaching materials and exam questions
• Conduct exams and evaluations

Requirements

• Relevant master’s degree
• High-level practical experience outside academia, or
• Academic employment at another university (e.g. assistant professor, associate professor, professor)
• In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of the subject area, acquired through relevant employment
• Teaching qualifications considered in assessment

Terms of Employment

• Salary and employment per Danish regulations for external lecturers
• Maximum 500 working hours per academic year (may vary by semester)
• Remuneration based on hours, determined twice a year
• Mandatory introductory course on university teaching at CBS
• Assigned a researcher as professional contact person
• Participation in professional events and department network
